US Lacrosse missed a tremendous opportunity when they removed the shin guard rule from women’s lacrosse. And while some goalies are excited about the new rules, these are goalies who do NOT understand the use of equipment as a tool and are caught up in how things ‘look’ rather than how they could perform.

In today’s talk, Coach Edwards will go deep on this topic. Why coaches and administrators are complicit and being lazy when it comes to player development and sport progression. Why the ‘it makes me slow’ argument is over. And why this reeks of the discussion that football is having around concussions.

US Lacrosse has retarted the sport yet again.
