These are the coaches who are quick to tell you the odds of actually making it.  In their ‘experience’ you are just on a path to suffering some fate experienced by every other kid out there who had big dreams and didn’t make it.

Snore.

Now, that doesn’t give you permission to not listen to coaches.  Coaches are those who are going to help you get better.  That’s IF they are actually coaching.  This doesn’t include some twenty-something in flip-flops standing as a placeholder on the sideline.  I’m talking about COACHES.

I consider myself a pretty forward-thinking coach.  But not every coach is like that.  In fact, many are stuck thinking back to the days that they played and that’s all they understand.  That’s a real problem in the sport of lacrosse.  More so than any other sport.  There are, in fact, lacrosse coaches who think those chest protectors, slow goalies, down! Sheesh.

In today’s episode, we’re going to talk about what to do when you run into a lacrosse coach like this.  How to bust through.  How to stay on track.  And much more!  Enjoy.
