Hi,
I was hoping you could help me. I am 11 years old girl and have been a goalie for 1 year. I was using my brothers regular boys lacrosse gloves in the goal but would now like to buy a set of goalie gloves. Can you recommend a pair or give me some tips on what I should look in a pair of gloves? Also know any good goalie clinics in the New York area?

Answer: Hey there Mary. At your age there are not a lot of goalie specific gloves but that’s ok. Your comptetition doesn’t shoot so hard that you’re going to break a hand. I would go with a comfortable set of junior size gloves that fit your hand and that you can cradle the stick with. You will have plenty of protection for now. I don’t recommend a certain brand of glove because fit is so personal, you’ll have to get out there and try some on.
