I have NEVER understood we women’s coaches feel that it’s a good idea for women’s lax goalies to play defense in certain situations. This tactic has also trickled into the boy’s game more and more and it’s resulting in a couple of really bad situations in the game of lacrosse, 1) defenders who can’t play defense, and 2) lacrosse goalies who are out of position.
