We’ve talked about why lacrosse goalies should not be trying to pick off passes. BUT, lacrosse goalies can be very effective defensive teammates.

This past week Penn State got lit up for three goals that could have been easily defended if they had utilized the goalie. We’ll talk about what needs to happen and why the lacrosse goalie of the future will play like an extra defender in key situations.
